Guides for organisers & advertisers

how-to guides.

Quick walkthroughs for organisers listing events, and businesses looking to reach Ireland's running, jogging and walking community.

Guide 01

list your event — free, forever.

Every listing on runjogorwalk.com is free. No catches, no premium tiers, no charge per submission. Our job is to be the one place runners, joggers and walkers in Ireland can see what's on.

  1. 1

    Head to the submit page

Click Submit an event in the top menu, or use the "+ Add event" button.

  2. 2

    Fill in the basics

Event name, county, type (parkrun, road race, camino, triathlon, cross country, trail or "other"), and the date or recurrence pattern. That's the minimum.

  3. 3

    Add what helps runners decide

Start time, location, distance, a short description (what's the course like? is it flat? is it kid-friendly?). A good description is worth 10 extra entries to your event.

  4. 4

Include your website and social links

Website is most important — that's where people register. Optionally add Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X links. Anything you include becomes a clickable icon on your event's card.

  5. 5

    Submit

We review every submission (usually within 24 hours) to check it's a real event. Once approved, your event appears on the public calendar immediately.

Already listed? Want to update a date, add a logo, or correct a detail? Drop us a message — we'll update it within a day or two.

Guide 02

advertise to Ireland's running community.

We accept a limited number of ads from brands whose product or service genuinely helps runners, joggers and walkers. Think: local running shops, physio clinics, sports massage, race photography, running tours, training coaches, race nutrition, clubs looking for members.
